First Conditional / Primer Condicional

Utilizamos el Primer Condicional cuando expresamos el resultado de una situación hipotética bastante probable. En otras palabras, es muy probable que la condición se cumpla.

Estructura	If + Simple Present	Will / Won't + Base Form

El orden de las cláusulas no cambia el significado. Solamente debes separar las cláusulas con una coma cuando la If Clause está al principio.

Afirmativa: If you study, you will learn.

Afirmativa (cláusulas invertidas): You will learn if you study.

Negativa: If I don't pass my exam, I will be sad.

Además de will/won't, la Main Clause también puede usar can, may, might o un imperativo:

may + Base Form	If you study, you may pass.	Si estudias, puede que apruebes.
might + Base Form	If he calls, I might answer.	Si él llama, puede que conteste.
Imperativo	If you see her, call me.	Si la ves, llámame.

If I don't pass my exam, I will be sad.	Si no apruebo mi examen, estaré triste.
If I have time, I will visit you.	Si tengo tiempo, te visitaré.
If you work hard, you will get tired.	Si trabajas duro, te cansarás.
If he doesn't call you, you will call him.	Si él no te llama, tú lo llamas.
If you eat a lot of candy, you will get a toothache.	Si comes muchos dulces, te dará dolor de muelas.
If I get a job, I will buy a new TV.	Si consigo un trabajo, compraré un nuevo televisor.
If you train, you will be strong.	Si entrenas, serás fuerte.
If I feel sick, I will not go to work.	Si me siento enfermo, no iré a trabajar.
If it rains, the tournament will be canceled.	Si llueve, el torneo será cancelado.
If they win, they will be champions.	Si ganan, serán campeones.
If the weather improves, we'll go for a walk.	Si el clima mejora, saldremos a caminar.
If it rains, we will stay at home.	Si llueve, nos quedaremos en casa.
If you eat too much candy, you will need a dentist.	Si comes demasiados dulces, necesitarás un dentista.
If you don't hurry up, you will miss the bus.	Si no te apuras, perderás el autobús.
If it is sunny, we will play soccer.	Si hace sol, jugaremos fútbol.
If it doesn't rain tomorrow, we will go to the park.	Si no llueve mañana, iremos al parque.
