Zero Conditional / Condicional Cero

Utilizamos la Condicional Cero para expresar verdades generales, hechos científicos y situaciones que son siempre ciertas.

Estructura	If + Simple Present	Simple Present

El orden de las cláusulas no cambia el significado. Solamente debes separar las cláusulas con una coma cuando la If Clause está al principio.

Afirmativa: If you heat ice, it melts.

Afirmativa (cláusulas invertidas): Ice melts if you heat it.

Negativa: If you don't study, you don't learn.

En el Zero Conditional, when puede reemplazar a if sin cambiar el significado, porque el resultado es siempre cierto.

If you heat water to 100 degrees, it boils.

When you heat water to 100 degrees, it boils.

If I drink coffee, I don't sleep well.	Si tomo café, no duermo bien.
