Los Sustantivos Contables son personas, animales, lugares, cosas o ideas que pueden ser contadas directamente utilizando números (unidades).

Countable nouns son aquellos nombres o sustantivos que tienen singular y plural. Existen mucho más Sustantivos Contables que Sustantivos No Contables en el idioma inglés.

Singular: uso de a / an

Los Sustantivos Contables en singular utilizan el artículo indeterminado a o an.

Los Sustantivos Contables pueden ir precedidos de números.

Para preguntar sobre la cantidad de un Sustantivo Contable se utiliza How many? acompañado del sustantivo en plural. Para expresar cantidad se usan many (muchos) y a few (unos pocos).
